Why do the buttons click on Key Safes?

Modified on Wed, 26 Mar at 1:28 PM

On mechanical key safes, the clicking of the buttons confirms that the number has been entered and registered.

For the C500, P500 and Classic key safes, once you’ve pressed the button once, it will not click again until the mechanism has been reset (you can do this by pulling down the ‘CLEAR’ button’).

For the Tamo key safe range, each button can be set up to 4 times in the code, therefore if that digit is set 4 times, it will click 4 times. You can reset the mechanism by pulling down the Clear/Reset button.
