ark Tamo™ has been designed following extensive customer consultation by our UK-based access solution experts, resulting in a mechanical key safe that combines unparalleled levels of code and construction security with user-focused convenience and ease-of-use.

Built to Secured by Design (SBD) police preferred specification, ark Tamo™ is the world’s first mechanical key safe to achieve the LPS1175 Issue 8 A10 attack security rating from LPCB (Loss Prevention Certification Board) sitting within the world’s most secure mechanical key safe range.

Unparalleled security 

ark Tamo™ is made of strengthened zinc alloy which is corrosion and attack resistant. The double-wall construction, coupled with strategically positioned attack-resistant reinforcement pins, provide unrivalled security. It features a world first multi-push locking mechanism which has been engineered to offer enhanced reliability and safety. Patented multi-push technology allows each button to be used up to four times to form a more memorable code, resulting in over 9.7 million high security code combinations, unparalleled by any other mechanical key storage device. 

Illuminated keypad and vault 

ark Tamo™ features a keypad with ten soft-touch, large buttons made from tough plastic. Each button is backlit by the inner lighting module for maximum visibility, once activated. An internal light also illuminates the inner compartment for ease of use. 

How can ark Tamo™ be used? 

ark Tamo™ has many applications including access for home healthcare and home services such as cleaners or dog sitters, remote sites, holiday homes, property management, equipment storage, after-hours delivery, alarm or emergency access, as well as providing secure storage for spare keys and emergency entry if you are locked out or have lost your keys. The illumination module means ark Tamo™ is particularly suited to users who wish to use the key safe in all lighting conditions. The large, easy-press backlit buttons make access quick and easy for people who may be less-dextrous. 

Installing ark Tamo™:

• Four heavy-duty, self-tapping masonry screws and a marking template are included for mounting the key safe on brickwork, concrete, stone and single skin walls. • Alternative fitting kit is available for installation on a rendered surface • A full instruction manual and additional resources are provided and can be accessed digitally via the built-in QR code on the front of the key safe

5 YEAR EXTENDED WARRANTY: The Tamo police preferred key safe range comes with 5 years warranty when registered on The Key Safe Company website. Only for mechanical parts. Illumination module is covered by 2 years warranty.
